I have an important update on the NC 12-abortion ban: The bill passed the House and Senate and is on @RoyCoopernc’s desk right now.
The good news is that Gov. Cooper has already vetoed it to protect our right to choose.
The bad news is that we expect the legislature to override his veto.
Like you, I am devastated and angry. But I will not let that keep me from fighting for our rights.
The GOP has continued to ignore the American people on this issue, but we cannot stand silent.
We will force them to hear us, and next year we will vote Republicans who support this legislation out of office.
