To close out #WomensHistoryMonth, we recognize today as #EqualPayDay. It’s a sad reality, but most women still do not make the same amount of money as their male colleagues – a gap that widens even more if you’re a woman of color. I was proud to have introduced the Equal Pay Act during my time in the #NCGA, and will continue to fight for women’s economic equality in Congress.
