2023: Gerrymandering is Still a Thing
North Carolina Republicans have just passed into law new gerrymandered congressional and state legislative maps drawn in secret and passed within a week. This is an egregious abuse of power and a threat to our democracy.
Mike Johnson New Speaker of the House
Republicans have chosen extremism over bipartisanship with the election of Mike Johnson as Speaker of the House. The GOP agenda of election denialism, the criminalization of abortion, the stripping of rights from the LGBTQ+ community, and cuts to Social Security does not reflect our values.
