Election day is one week away!

I hosted a roundtable with first-time voters and Cary Council Member Ya Liu to discuss how to vote, what we are hearing from voters, and how crucial this election is. Make sure your voice is heard this election & encourage your friends & family to vote as well!

Neighbors on Call

Glad to join the Neighbors on Call – NC canvass launch supporting Terence Everitt – NC House District 35 and Mary Wills Bode for NC Senate. These two seats are critical in protecting Governor Cooper’s veto power.

Early Voting

I have been out working the early vote polls this week with other wonderful candidates like Heagarty 4 Schools – Chris Heagarty for Wake School Board and Joe John NC House 40. I hope to see you at a polling place soon!

Access to Abortion is on the Ballot

As I’m traveling around Wake County and talking to voters, one thing is abundantly clear: access to abortion is on the ballot. North Carolina is a safe haven for abortion access in the South, and I know voters are mobilizing to keep it that way.

Protect these Vital Programs

Republicans have made it clear that they want to put Medicare and Social Security on the chopping block if they win in November. That’s why this election is so crucial. Democrats want to protect these vital programs and invest in our people.

The News & Observer’s endorsement.

Honored to receive The News & Observer‘s endorsement. I will always put the interests of Wake County residents first—working across the aisle where I can while fighting for our fundamental freedoms and a brighter future. https://www.newsobserver.com/opinion/article267632317.html

Congressman Jim Clyburn

It was great to welcome Congressman Jim Clyburn to Shaw University today. Thanks for talking to North Carolina voters about how crucial this election is.

Campbell Law School

Thank you to the next generation of young Democratic leaders at Campbell Law School for hosting me!
