Government Shutdown Likely Thanks to Republicans
Republicans have been working all year to restrict Americans’ access to affordable healthcare, including cutting Medicaid funding in their Big Ugly Law. Now, they’re threatening to shut down the government unless they can keep policies that drive up healthcare costs. They won’t have my support.

Recent Flooding in Texas and NC
The devastation in Texas is horrible, and my thoughts and prayers are with everyone impacted. I’m grateful for all the work first responders have done to protect people from TX to NC amid this massive rainfall. Stay safe everyone.
