The Constitutional Right To Vote
On this day in 1920, the #19thAmendment was ratified, and women were granted the constitutional right to vote. I have immense gratitude for the generations of women who paved the way for equal participation in the most important process in our democracy.
Child Tax Credit
Last week, the second monthly payments of the #ChildTaxCredit started being sent out. This tax cut secured in the American Rescue Plan will help continue the historic economic recovery and achieve a transformative reduction in child poverty.
