Americans across the country—including in North Carolina—continue to have their voting rights stripped by state legislatures. The right to vote is a cornerstone of American democracy and I’m extremely disappointed Senate Republicans filibustered the Freedom to Vote Act. The fight is not over. As a member of the House Judiciary Committee, I will continue to push for vital voting rights legislation.
