I am deeply grateful to the U.S. service members who put their lives on the line to keep our country safe. While our mission in Afghanistan has ended, our commitment to ensuring stability in the region and defeating groups that threaten our country endures. I will continue to work with the Biden administration and my colleagues to do everything possible to evacuate the remaining American citizens and our Afghan partners.
