North Carolina leads all other East Coast states in both offshore wind energy generation capacity potential and manufacturing potential. Offshore wind is projected to be a $140 billion industry in the US by 2035, and I believe North Carolina is positioned to lead the way in this development.
As a champion for offshore wind, I’m pleased the Biden administration and Governor Cooper agree we must support these efforts.
