Starting today, all NC frontline workers are eligible to get vaccinated. Additionally, starting in three weeks people with underlying health conditions will be eligible to get vaccinated. I am thankful to all those working hard to get North Carolinians vaccinated as quickly as possible.

The “For the People Act” is a comprehensive package of reforms that would strengthen voting rights, protect our democracy, and give the people a bigger voice in their government.  Congress has a chance right now to pass once-in-a-lifetime reforms that would safeguard our democracy by ending partisan gerrymandering, broadening access to voting, getting big money out of politics, and placing restrictions on future voter suppression efforts.
