Yesterday was a hard day for our country. But it wasn’t hard to get back to work. I’m proud of Congress’ resilience and dedication to finishing the job of certifying the Presidential election and the peaceful transfer of power. Our democracy is resilient, but fragile. We have much work yet to do to heal, prevent violence and move our country forward.
