Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, there has been a dramatic increase in discrimination, hate crimes, and violence targeted at the AAPI community – including in Atlanta when 8 people were murdered. This week in Congress, I voted for two bills to combat anti-AAPI discrimination, violence, and bigotry.
Hate has no home in our country or North Carolina.
