Aftermath of Trump’s Return to the White House

Thanks to the extraordinary courage of law enforcement on January 6th, the attempt to overturn the 2020 election failed. I won’t let Republicans whitewash the truth or the bravery of our officers that day.

Of the nearly 1,600 people Trump pardoned:

  • 608 faced charges for assaulting, resisting, or interfering with law enforcement
  • Roughly 174 were charged with using a deadly or dangerous weapon or causing serious injury to an officer
  • 33 have since been charged, arrested, or convicted of new crimes, including child molestation, kidnapping, and sexual assault
