The remarkable story of Millie Dunn Veasey, a Raleigh native and WWII veteran, was featured in a North Carolina Museum of History blog on the history of North Carolina! I was proud to recognize her service to this country by renaming a Raleigh post office in her honor.
This fight isn’t over, but I’m glad to see the judicial system affirm what we already know. Millions of North Carolinians voted, and Allison Riggs won her election to the NC Supreme Court fair and square.
