I know it’s hard to celebrate our accomplishments as North Carolinians have been stripped of a fundamental right: reproductive freedom.
But I urge you to join me in doing what we do best – standing up and fighting back. This day is a celebration of the 19th Amendment that expanded voting rights to women. We never would have achieved reproductive rights without women voting. Now, we will use our power at the ballot box to challenge every single Republican who voted against abortion rights.
