Families, mark July 15 on your calendar. You will receive monthly payments (via direct deposit or mail) up to $250/child between the ages of 6-17 or up to $300/child under the age of 6. Find out more at childtaxcredit.gov. Thanks to the expanded & improved #ChildTaxCredit,13,700 children in NC-02 will be lifted out of poverty.

Juneteenth Now a Federal Holiday
Tomorrow is #Juneteenth – a day to remember those who paid the ultimate price fighting for their freedom. Today we continue to fight for every person’s right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That’s why I voted for legislation establishing Juneteenth as a Federal holiday. Glad President Joe Biden signed it into law yesterday.
ACA
Since 2010, the ACA has provided over 20 million Americans with access to health care. I’m grateful that the Supreme Court took action today to uphold this law, and I look forward to building on this decision by further strengthening our health care system.
Claire Curzan of Cary
Congratulations to Claire Curzan of Cary who at the age of 16 has qualified for the U.S. Olympic team. I look forward to cheering her on this summer as she travels to Japan and competes as one of the youngest U.S. Olympians.
