Yesterday, I voted in favor of forming a bipartisan commission to investigate the January 6th attack on the Capitol. All members of Congress took the same oath: to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. It’s our duty to investigate this attack on our democracy so we can gain a better understanding of what transpired, honor those who gave their lives to protect us, and then prevent something like this from ever happening again.
